Rafelguaraf is perfectly positioned for visitors looking to do more than just relax, offering easy access to the region's huge array of historic sights and attractions. The city of Valencia is just 45 minutes away; the beautiful ancient town of Xàtiva can be reached in quarter of an hour, while a half hour drive through spectacular mountain scenery brings you to the beaches of Tavernes and Gandía. The journey from Valencia airport takes 45 minutes and Alicante airport is a 90 minute drive south. Both are served by a range of low-cost and scheduled airlines with destinations throughout Europe.

The village itself is a small but lively community which, in addition to its Post Office, Town Hall and church, boasts half a dozen bars and cafés, two banks, and a host of independent shops dotted about the side streets.
